Sir Paul McCartney's released his new solo album, New, and the music video for his first single off album has quite the star studded cast. The song “Queenie Eye” premiered on October 24th and showed that after all these years, McCartney is still getting by with a little help from his friends. The video features celebrities such as Gary Barlow, Alice Eve, Kate Moss, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp, James Cordan and Jeremy Irons.
McCartney surprised many Londoners by performing an impromptu Covent Garden gig. Despite the time and location of the gig only being announced an hour before via Twitter, 2,000 loyal fans were in attendance to see his midday performance.
A little over a year ago, Sir Paul McCartney was the closing act of the London Olympic Ceremony. One of the iconic moments of the performance was when he sat down at his Yamaha piano and performed a very heart felt rendition of “Hey Jude”.
